Social Media & Content Specialist

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Do you want to be part of advancing the digital presence of a leading-edge management consultancy? Are you a strong content creator with experience from Social Media management? Then you could be our new Social Media & Content Specialist!

As the Social Media & Content Specialist you will lead our day-to-day social media operations and act as the team’s creative master mind, producing assets for our social media channels, and for other channels as needed. You will be reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager where you will translate our goals into a social media plan and execute that agenda.

You will strive to advance our digital presence, in Sweden and the Nordics. We achieve this with engaging content and seek someone who can improve on our output from day one. You will make sure our content strategy and creative campaigns come to life through various media, including social and digital. You are comfortable creating content in a wide variety of tones — and to audiences that include business leaders and students alike.

You will be responsible for:

CREATIVE CONTENT PRODUCTION

  • Ensure BCG creates impact by developing engaging concepts and content.

  • Contribute with original ideas and storytelling techniques to influence how we communicate our brand and tell our story to influence our various audiences.

  • Translate messaging into multiple media formats for digital and social (e.g. GIFs, cinemagraphs, infographics, etc.)

  • Independently manage the end-to-end production process, including shooting, editing and post-production for e.g. video, photography, digital and graphic design assets.

  • Translate business content into clear, engaging and digestible copy.

  • Manage content production with external agencies, according to schedule and within budget.

  • Provide creative direction and ensure content adheres to brand guidelines established for content produced by third parties.

RUN SOCIAL MEDIA OPERATIONS AND PROCESSES

  • Translate marketing and recruting strategies into a functional plan, as agreed with Manager, and drive the execution of that agenda. This includes budget responsibility.

  • Ownership of all social media channels (currently: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the content pipeline.

  • Run weekly editorial meetings with the social media team and manage the editorial calendar, as well as handle ad hoc requests outside of the plan.

  • Manage stakeholders and work collaboratively with team members and across departments.

  • Contribute to Nordic initiatives together with the teams from the other Nordic offices.

SOCIAL MEDIA REPORTING

  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media efforts.

  • Analyze and evaluate social media content performance to maximize results.

  • Put together performance reports for key stakeholders monthly.

  • Work with the Nordic Social Media Lead on paid social to capitalize on insights and proactively test, iterate and learn along the way.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Shooting and editing video and photo (Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred).

  • Writing engaging copy and compelling, impactful headlines and calls to action.

  • Creating content at a high pace, and at high quality.

  • Managing content production with external agencies.

  • Organizing your work, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Solving problems independently and working with limited supervision.

  • Paying attention to detail, also when tasked with multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Being flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.

  • Operating both independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

You have a degree or technical diploma within digital marketing, graphic design, creative writing or similar - or equivalent relevant work experience. Formal schooling is a bonus, but not a requirement. Autodidact geniuses are always welcome!

In addition, you also have:

  • Min. 3 years’ experience working with content creation at an agency or inhouse.

  • Excellent writing skills in English with flawless spelling and grammar.

  • Experience with graphic design, from a varienty of applications e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and After Effects – animation skills are a plus.

  • Experience with writing copy and creating visuals for different channels, formats and audiences.

  • A positive, go-getter attitude; passion for storytelling and brand-building.

  • Experience with Paid Social Media (Business Manager, Campaign Manager), Sprinklr (or similar enterprise Content Management Systems) and Social Media analytics is a plus.
